On Going House Construction

My mom recently started several constructions around the house. The first project was the metal staircase which has long been planned. Previously, we had a wooden staircase which brought a lot of problems. Living in a tropical country means many many rains coming within a month. That made the staircase immediately weak, sometimes causing my aging parents to slip through holes and weak spots. Ouch!

Another project was the metal gate which was also long planned. The initial design was very simple, just plain metal rods weld together to create what looks like a gate. When the welding was half-way, I looked around the net to search for nice gate designs. I found a lot. When my uncle saw the designs (the one doing the welding), he immediately asked me to add designs to the original simple one. I agreed as I too want to have a nicely designed gate.

Alongside, my brother who already has his own house and family was also doing their house painting jobs and floor tiling. I hope I too could do the same for my parents’ house. There are really good sources around for flooring materials. One of them is Armor Garage, who offer really good products like epoxy floor coating, epoxy garage floor paint and even quality modular garage floor tile.

As soon as I get additional funds from my siblings and my own again, I hope to continue what my mom and dad has put up for us. Now that ‘m the only one left at home (sine everybody else are married), I want to give my contribution for their remaining years.
